Jude Okoye Breaks Silence On P-Square Breakup, EFCC Allegations

Nigerian singer, Peter Okoye, better known as Mr P, has again clarified the song theft allegation leveled against him by his twin brother, Paul Okoye, popularly known as Rude Boy.

Naija News reports that the new rift started when Peter Okoye announced the release of his latest song, ‘Winning,’ which Paul claims he wrote and is scheduled to be released in June 2025.

In a post shared on Instagram, Paul said the agreement was that the duo would write and submit six songs for an album before they recently parted ways.

Paul claimed that his brother released one of his songs alone with the support of his management.

While expressing his anger, Paul called Peter ‘Oloriburuku.’

However, in a post on Instagram, Peter insists he and the producer wrote the song, adding that Paul and their older brother, Jude, are doing everything to take down the song from music platforms but will fight until the end.

He wrote: “Call us names, call us childish; it is fine. I understand, but if anyone says anything false about me and I have evidence, then I have a right to defend myself. Let’s stay WINNING.

“My dear WINNING Team. Y’all did this one! Let’s celebrate and continue WINNING together! Special shoutout to these guys.

“You claimed you wrote the song but didn’t know any @calypso60music. Then how come @calypso60music and I are telling you what to sing? And you still have the audacity to call me Oloriburuku. SMH. Just for the record guys, Jude and Paul are writing through a lawyer and doing everything possible to bring down the song from all music platforms. But I will fight till the end. With my full chest! @calypso60music and myself wrote WINNING.”
